Sue Arnson - Artist
Sue Arnson began painting in the mid nineties A former resident and teacher in MontgomeryCounty, she and her husband moved to Garrett County in 1987. During the summer season she runs The Loft Shop near Deep Creek Lake ) which features art and crafts of Western Maryland
Sue has studied watercolor painting with Alexis Lavine, Jim McNeil, David Daniels and Frederick Graff. Her work is shown at Garrett County Arts Council, Rocky Gap State Park, , The Loft Shop, Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Garrett Cty Health Department.
In recent years Sue has expanded her creative efforts, creating monotypes and collages.
Mrs. Arnson has been an active member of the Garrett County Arts Council, has served as the council’s president and has been awarded the Arts Council’s Friend of the Arts Award for her notable contributions to the arts community in
