I am a retired Montessori pre-k teacher/director and k-12 art teacher. Now I have the time to persue my personal art. My favorite media are watercolor and colored pencil. Often the nature of the subject just naturally seems to lend itself to one medium more than the other. I feel truly blessed to be able to enjoy painting so much. What an artist can learn, express and perfect is endless. My subject matter is varied. I have studied with Alexis Levine, Ray Ewing, Linda Doll, Bob Yonkee, Lynn Farris, Wini Redick, Jeanie McGuire, Ellen Elms, Kristy Kutch, Kathy Bostwick and Ron Sanders. I spend my winters in beautiful Punta Gorda, Florida and then come home to the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland for six months.
